In order to provide the Civil Service with elements enabling the drawing up of a Technological Risks Prevention Plan (TRPP), the Couronnaise de Raffinage has relied on the skills of APSYS.
The eventual aim of the Civil Service approach is to have at one’s disposal true items of decision aid in terms of urbanization management around the Refinery.

The services carried out by APSYS are:

• performance of risk analyses on all the site units so as to make a list of all the accidents likely to have impacts outside the ownership limits,
• evaluation of the gravity by means of modelling tools of the accidental phenomena,
• assessment of the occurrence probability of those scenarios by means of a risk quantitative approach (LOPA).

Those elements enable us to draw a map of the unknown factors for the area concerned.
