Elaboration and follow-up of the Aircraft Maintenance Programme / Application of the MSG-3 method

- To control the aging of the aircraft in terms of safety for the passengers as well as the associated financial stakes for the airline companies, this is the aim of the MSG-3 method. This methodology enables the setting up of a servicing programme for each new aircraft model and its application implies the manufacturer, the airline companies and the Certification Authorities.

Context
As far as those skills are concerned, LATECOERE is related to the following customers, programmes and products:
  • EMBRAER for the EMBRAER 170/190 programmes on the products Centre Fuselage I, Centre Fuselage III, Passenger / Service & Cargo Doors, Over-Wing Emergency Hatch.
  • DASSAULT AVIATION for the F7X programme on the products Aft Fuselage, Service & Cargo Doors, S-Duct Hatch, Small Rudder.
  • AIRBUS / EUROCOPTER for the A380 programme on the products Upper Deck Passenger / Bulk Cargo Doors.

Studies
All along the Certification process, for all its customers, programmes and products to which LATECOERE is related, APSYS has contributed and is still contributing to:
  • the carrying out of the “Safety / Reliability / Maintainability” analyses,
  • the active participation in the various reviews of the Certification process performed between the Authorities and the Partners (PDR “Preliminary Design Review” & CDR “Critical Design Review”).
    Place of the missions: EMBRAER (Brazil – São José dos Campos), DASSAULT AVIATION (France – Saint-Cloud).

  • Good technical knowledge of the Products and the Work Environment (company & personnel). APSYS has been working on the EMBRAER project since the end of 1999, on the DASSAULT AVIATION project since 2001 and on the AIRBUS / EUROCOPTER project since 2003.
