Within a context of intense economic competition, in which countries with low labour costs are securing a growing proportion of global production, it is more than ever necessary to optimise the productivity of existing production lines and to control the investment associated with the implementation of new production tools.

The teams from APSYS have been developing for more than 10 years their own methodology of optimisation of the risk behaviours. It is the result of strong experience feedback in the process industry (chemistry, oil, nuclear) and it relies on the analysis of several thousands of accidents and incidents.


The aim is to be able to act before they occur by:
  • raising the personnel’s awareness of the mechanisms leading to risk behaviours and of the risk behaviours themselves;
  • carrying out a measure of the progress made after the awareness has been raised (implementation of “behavioural” contacts).

This method has now been successfully applied to the biggest industrial companies: ARCELOR, DCN, SOLVAY, BSN, LYONDELL, …
