APSYS develops, markets and supports three software packages (SIMFIA, SIMLOG and DIAGSYS) intended for the design and support, offline as well as online, of your complex industrial systems.
APSYS leads the users’ clubs of those various tools and organises meetings several times a year allowing the collation of the experiences and subjects dealt with.

SIMFIA

Model, Simulate, Assess

From the attainment of knowledge coming from the functional and dysfunctional analysis of an equipment item, system or process, SIMFIA enables its analysis and the simulation of the general behaviour and the automation of the Dependability studies. SIMFIA integrates the following modules:

  • FMEA: Automatic generation of the FMEA tables from the data present in the template,
  • DIAGFIA: Achieving of reliability diagrams, and average or time indicators calculation,
  • SAFETY: Automatic generation of fault trees from the template and use of performing calculation engines (among which the ARALIA © engine) to obtain results,
  • SIMUL: modelling of dynamic hierarchical systems, reconfigurable and based on the ALTARICA Data-Flow© language encapsulated within a graphic interface.

SIMLOG
To optimise one’s Maintenance by the Costs
From the definition of the physical and functional components, the geographical tree structure of the support, the reliability and maintainability data, as well as the maintenance policy, SIMLOG enables assisting the logistician in the implementation of the Logistic Support elements for one or several repairable, high technology systems.

  • OPTIM-STOCK: optimisation of the stocks considering the cost of the initial replacements and various criteria of operational performance.
  • COST: Carrying out of the overall cost (Life Cycle Cost, Life Support Cost).
  • LORA: Optimisation of the repair policy and the replacements with regard to the overall cost of ownership and the operational availability.

DIAGSYS
The Diagnosis help tool

DIAGSYS is the diagnosis tool proposed in the SIMFIA workshop; it allows assisting an operator or a maintenance technician in the search for failures.
DIAGSYS can be used independently of SIMFIA as a “runtime” programme integrated into a maintenance tool or the operational system itself.
From a fault noticed on a system, DIAGSYS enables initialising a list of failures potentially responsible for that fault, and refining it thanks to complementary information asked to the user, or automatically transmitted from the diagnosed system as defaults codes.
DIAGSYS then converges towards the single failure or the association of failures responsible for the fault initially noticed.
